Summary & Scope: Manages and executes special events and brand ambassadors (street team) associated with the radio station(s). Assists the Sales Promotions Manager with all aspects of sales-promotions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Responsible for station's event execution efforts • Act as (or assigns from street team) main point person on-site for venue or client contacts • Manages set-up, execution and breakdown of all assigned station events • Manages interns and street team at event to teach use of equipment and maximize abilities • Responsible for station's promotional resources including: • Responsible for keeping vehicles and equipment clean for all station appearances • Acts as manager to Street Team along with Sales Promotion Manager • Assists director of Marketing/Promotions with station event execution and targeting efforts.

Reporting Structure • Reports directly to Sales Promotion Manager • Department is overseen by Director of Marketing/Promotions

Qualifications:

Skills and Aptitudes • A high level of energy and enthusiasm for radio and the KISS FM Brand • An extraordinary level of customer service • The ability to interact with/engage an audience of all sizes and demos • A self-starter attitude and have the ability to think outside the box • Great organization, multi-tasking skills and be detailed oriented • Exceptional leadership skills, the ability to work well with others and manage a diverse group of people • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and equipment set-up • Knowledge of New York Tri-state area concert/sporting venues is a plus • Knowledge of technical and stage sound equipment a plus

Environment and Physical • The ability to maintain flexible hours -- non traditional work hours and ability to work weekends are mandatory • The ability and willingness to lift equipment and materials over 25 pounds

Education and/or Experience: Minimum B.A. degree or equivalent experiiience required

Licenses/Certifications • Good driving skills and maintain a clean driving record • Ability to drive large vehicles (a CDL/commercial license is a plus)

Work Environment: The noise level is the work environment is usually moderate.

SMART GOALS A. – Smart Goal #1 Create station equipment checks and inventory system to improve equipment maintenance and item usability by May 2012 B. – Smart Goal #2 Set-up re-training sessions for the entire promotions street team and create/revise new hire training manual by June 2012 C. – Smart Goal #3 Create/revamp 3 promotional tools, or activities that can be used on events in order to inform, engage and entertain listeners by August 2012
